Application for a single interest employer authorisation.

[1] Application has been made for a single interest employer authorisation in relation to a proposed enterprise agreement to replace the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2016 1. The agreement is proposed to cover employees of the employers listed in Annexure A (the Employers) who are employed in government funded kindergarten programs and integrated child care centres.

[2] The application was made pursuant to s.249 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act) by the Early Learning Association of Australia Inc (the Applicant) on behalf of the Employers.

[3] I am satisfied on the material before me that the Employers have agreed to bargain together. There is no evidence that any person coerced or threatened to coerce any of the Employers to agree to bargain together.

[4] On 27 June 2019 a Ministerial Declaration in relation to the proposed enterprise agreement was issued under s.247 of the Act specifying each of the Employers as the employers that will be covered by the agreement.

[5] As the requirements for a single interest employer authorisation have been met, the application must be granted.

[6] A single interest employer authorisation [PR710342] is issued separately to this Decision.
