Case

Yu

v

ACT Education Directorate

[2022] HCASL 205
C18/2022

  1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a decision of the Full Court of the Federal Court of Australia (Thomas, SC Derrington and Halley JJ).  The Full Court allowed in part an appeal from a decision of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) (Judge Neville) to dismiss the applicant's application in relation to alleged breaches of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).

  2. The applicant has not identified a question of principle of general importance sufficient to warrant a grant of special leave to appeal and an appeal to this Court would have insufficient prospects of success.  The application for special leave to appeal should be refused.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
