STEFANSKI
v
STATE OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA
[2024] HCASL 142
P3/2024
The applicant seeks an extension of time in which to seek special leave to appeal against a decision of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Western Australia (Buss P, Mazza and Beech JJA),[1] dismissing an appeal from a conviction accepted by the Supreme Court of Western Australia (Hall J) after a plea of guilty.
[1]Stefanski v Western Australia [2022] WASCA 5.
The case is not an appropriate vehicle to determine the issues of principle raised. Accordingly, it would be futile to grant an extension of time.
Special leave to appeal is refused.
