ROBERT TAYLOR (A PSEUDONYM)

v

THE QUEEN

[2021] HCASL 206
S21/2021

  1. The applicant requires an extension of time to seek special leave to appeal from a unanimous decision of the Court of Criminal Appeal of New South Wales (Johnson, Price and Davies JJ). The Court dismissed an appeal against the sentence imposed by the District Court of New South Wales (Judge Blackmore).

  2. The application has insufficient prospects of success to warrant a grant of special leave. It would accordingly be futile to grant the extension of time sought.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
