MJJ
v
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS
[2022] HCASL 12
A37/2021
This application for special leave to appeal from a decision of the Court of Criminal Appeal of the Supreme Court of South Australia requires an extension of time. There is no reason to doubt the correctness of the decision of the Court of Criminal Appeal. An appeal to this Court would have insufficient prospects of success to warrant the grant of special leave to appeal. An extension of time would therefore be futile. The application should be dismissed.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
