v
The king
[2023] HCASL 28
m78/2022
The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a decision of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria (Kennedy JA) affirming a decision of the Registrar of Criminal Appeals of the Court of Appeal to refuse to seal documents filed by the applicant for leave to appeal under s 326A of the Criminal Procedure Act 2009 (Vic).
The application is an abuse of process, seeking as it does to reagitate issues that have already been finally determined. Special leave should be refused.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
