An Act for the frequent Meeting and calling of Parliaments.                                    

X1 Whereas by the ancient Laws and Statutes of this Kingdome frequent Parliaments ought to bee held And whereas frequent and new Parliaments tend very much to the happy union and good agreement of the King and People.

Parliament to be held once in Three Years at the least.
From henceforth a Parliament shall bee holden once in Three years att the least.
                                                                                 
II.
Writs to be issued once in Three Years.
And within Three yeares att the farthest from and after the Dissolution of this present Parliament and soe from time to time for ever hereafter within Three yeares att the farthest from and after the determination of every other Parliament legal Writts under the Great Seal shall bee issued by directions of your Majesties your Heires and Successors for calling assembling and holding another new Parliament.
