Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Amendment Act 2000
An Act to amend the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Act 1993

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Amendment Act 2000 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Act 1993 amended Section 22 of the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Act 1993 is amended as follows: (a) by inserting in subsection (2)(a) ", or decision or purported decision, against which the appeal or purported appeal has been brought" after "purported appeal"; (b) by inserting the following subsections after subsection (3) : (4) Subsection (2) , as amended by the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Amendment Act 2000 , is taken to extend to the exercise, or purported exercise, of any power under that subsection by the Appeal Tribunal before the commencement of that Act. (5) Subsection (4) does not disturb the effect of a decision of the Supreme Court made before the commencement of the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal Amendment Act 2000 .
