TRUBUHOVIC v R [2025] NZHC 1080 [6 May 2025]

[1]    Mr Trubuhovic appealed against his sentence of 23 months’ imprisonment handed down by Judge C M Ryan on 25 October 2024.1 That sentence has now been served and both the appellant’s counsel and the appellant, who is present in Court today, see no point in continuing the appeal.2

[2]    Accordingly, I accept that the sentence appeal will not be proceeded with and I dismiss the appeal.
