R v KINGI [2022] NZHC 2298 [9 September 2022]

[1]    Through counsel, Mr Kingi has entered guilty pleas to the three conspiracy charges that he now faces. Counsel agree that I should proceed to sentence him immediately in accordance with sentence indication I have just given. On each of the three charges Mr Kingi is sentenced to four months home detention. Those sentences are to be served concurrently with each other and concurrently with the sentence of 12 months home detention imposed by Judge Ingram on 14 January 2022.

[2]    You will now simply go back to the address at which you are currently serving the sentence of home detention.

[3]    The terms and conditions of the new sentence of home detention will be the same as those imposed by Judge Ingram on 14 January this year.
