Judgment:      10 June 2008

JUDGMENT OF ALLAN J ON BREACH OF BAIL

Solicitors:

Crown Solicitor Auckland Bruc[email protected]

R Mansfield [email protected]

R V K HC AK CRI 2007-004-6217  10 June 2008

[1]      Mr K   appears today consequent on his apprehension for breach of the residence  conditions  of  his  bail.     The  breach  is  acknowledged.     There  will accordingly be a direction that the breach be noted in the Crown book.

[2]      Mr Mansfield seeks an adjournment of the question of bail until Tuesday next, 17 June.   The purpose of that adjournment is to enable steps to be taken to investigate a fresh address to which Mr K   wishes to be bailed in the future.  That address will of course need to be the subject of a fresh application for bail, which will no doubt be determined by the presiding Judge in the light of Mr K  ’s bail history to date.

[3]      Accordingly the matter is to be relisted at 11 am on Tuesday 17 June 2008.
