[1]  The appellant filed a notice of abandonment of appeal and as a result the appeal was dismissed on 15 February 2001. Costs had not been agreed and were reserved. We have considered the written memoranda on costs submitted by the parties. The respondent is entitled to costs of $500 and we order accordingly.
