[1]      Mr P  , acting on his own behalf, has filed an application in this Court for an order granting leave to appeal an order made on 10 December 2009 dismissing his appeal against conviction and sentence on one charge of attempting to escape from custody and one of escaping.

[2]      The application is well out of time and does not provide any grounds in support.  It must be dismissed on that basis alone.  In any event, it does not formulate a question of general or public importance for determination by the Court of Appeal: s 144 Summary Proceedings Act 1957.

[3]      Mr P  's application for leave to appeal is dismissed.
