M D Downs for Crown

Judgment:18 October 2006

JUDGMENT OF THE COURT

THE APPLICATION FOR LEAVE TO APPEAL IS DISMISSED.

[1]       The Court has received an application for leave to bring a criminal appeal against a judgment of the Court of Appeal delivered on 27 June 2006 dismissing an appeal against his conviction on a charge of threatening to kill.  The application alleges bias on the part of the Court of Appeal in terms which are intemperate and unintelligible and on a basis which is wholly unsubstantiated.  No basis upon which leave should be given under s 13 of the Supreme Court Act is made out.  The application is declined.
