ORAL JUDGMENT

[1]      Mr Bailey was assigned to represent the  appellant  on  his  appeal  against conviction.  On 25 September 2008 Mr Bailey wrote to the Court indicating that he was not in a position to assist the appellant and that he would notify the Legal Services Agency of the situation.  Presumably other counsel will be assigned in due course or, if that does not happen, Mr M     will elect to pursue the appeal in person.

[2]      To enable a decision to be made by the Legal Services Agency this appeal will be adjourned to 10am on 27 November 2008.  Mr M     will, of course, have

to be notified that his appeal has been adjourned.   I understand that he has no
