(i)Should the complainant’s claim of privilege against self‑incrimination at the trial have been upheld?

(ii)If so, should the evidence of the complainant relating to the allegations of assaults on her by the appellant have been excluded at trial?

(iii)If not, was the Judge’s decision to refuse to admit other statements of the complainant to the police in error?
