ALAN IVO GREER

v

THE QUEEN

Court:Blanchard, Tipping and Anderson JJ

Counsel:Applicant in Person

Judgment:16 May 2007

JUDGMENT OF THE COURT

The application for leave to appeal is dismissed.

[1]       On 25 January 2007 Mr Greer applied for leave to appeal against a judgment of the Court of Appeal dismissing his application for bail.  Despite frequent reminders, and extensions of time, he has failed to file any written submissions in support of his application.  Mr Greer is serving a sentence of imprisonment and has previously made an unsuccessful application for a writ of habeas corpus which, as the Court of Appeal said, covered much the same ground.

[2]       The grounds of his appeal to the Court of Appeal are set out in its judgment.  None of them provides any basis for his proposed appeal to this Court.
