The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Zoological Parks and Gardens (Administration)Regulations 1992—
(a)
to increase the charges payable for entry to the Sir Colin MacKenzie Zoological Park and to the Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens; and
(b) to make minor administrative changes.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 41 and
49 of the Zoological Parks and Gardens Act
1995.

3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 July
1997.
4. Principal Regulations
In these Regulations the Zoological Parks and
Gardens (Administration) Regulations 19921 arecalled the Principal Regulations.
5. Amendment of references
(1) In regulations 2, 8, 9A, 9B and the heading to
Schedule 2 of the Principal Regulations, for "admission" (wherever occuring) substitute "entry".
(2) In regulation 9(1) of the Principal Regulations, for
"be admitted to" substitute "enter".
(3) In regulation 9(3)(c) of the Principal Regulations
for "admitted" substitute "entering".
(4) In regulation 9A(2) of the Principal Regulations,
for "admitted to" substitute "entering".
6. Charges for entry to Board properties
For Schedule 1 of the Principal Regulations substitute—
