AN ACT to amend the Zoological Gardens Act, 1898.

[Assented to 15th November, 1955.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Zoological and citation.

Gardens Act Amendment Act, 1955.

(2) In this Act the Zoological Gardens Act, 1898,

Act 62 Victoria, No. 32, as amended by Acts Nos.

9 of 1916, and 49 of 1949,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Zoological Gardens Act, 1898- 1955.

amended. 2. Section five of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the symbol and figures, "£7,000" in line three, the words, "fifteen thousand pounds".
