ZHANG
v
YAN & ANOR
[2021] HCASL 228
M58/2021
The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a decision of the Federal Court of Australia (O'Bryan J) dismissing an appeal from a decision of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (Judge Riley) that dismissed the applicant's application for review of a sequestration order made by a Registrar of the Federal Circuit Court. The applicant identifies no question of principle which it would be in the interests of justice for this Court to consider and there is no reason to doubt the correctness of the Federal Court's decision. An appeal to this Court would enjoy no prospect of success. The applicant requires an extension of time, but it would be futile to grant the extension which is sought.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
