1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal from a decision of the Federal Court of Australia (Jackman J) dismissing an appeal from a decision of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) (Judge Manousaridis).

2. The application does not enjoy sufficient prospects of success to warrant a grant of special leave to appeal. Accordingly, it would be futile to grant the extension of time necessary for the application to proceed.

3. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application with costs.
