1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Youth Justice (Contact with Children) Amendment Regulation 2023.

2   Commencement

This regulation commences on 1 July 2023.

3   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Youth Justice Regulation 2016.

4   Amendment of s 29 (Telephone calls)

Section 29(6)—
insert—

(e)the inspector of detention services;

(f)the ombudsman.

5   Amendment of s 30 (Correspondence)
