PART 6A — MISCELLANEOUS

Calculation of period of detention by reference to unpaid amount (s. 65C (2))

40A. For the purposes of section 65C (2) of the Act, the period

of detention in a detention order (expressed in days) is to be calculated by dividing the unpaid amount by $50 and rounding the result up to the nearest whole number.
