XU & ORS
v
MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION AND BORDER PROTECTION & ANOR
[2019] HCASL 22
S246/2018
The applicants require an extension of time within which to file their application. The application raises no question of principle which it would be in the interests of justice for this Court to consider and there is no reason to doubt the correctness of the decision of the Federal Court of Australia dismissing an appeal from the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Accordingly, it would be futile to grant the extension which is sought.
Pursuant to r.41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application with costs.
