WREFORD

v

CASTLEYHEARD PTY LTD & ORS

[2024] HCASL 129
P6/2024

  1. The applicant requires an extension of time within which to seek special leave to appeal from a judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Western Australia (Quinlan CJ, Mitchell and Vaughan JJA), which dismissed an appeal from a decision of a Master of the Supreme Court of Western Australia (Sanderson M) summarily dismissing proceedings commenced by the applicant.

  2. The application does not raise any question of law or principle that is appropriate for this Court to consider. The proposed appeal otherwise does not have reasonable prospects of success. It would therefore be futile to grant an extension of time and special leave to appeal.

  3. Special leave to appeal is refused.
