I, SIR NINIAN MARTIN STEPHEN, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and in pursuance of sub-section 6 (3) of the World Heritage Properties Conservation Act 1983, being satisfied that the property described in the Schedule is likely to be damaged or destroyed, hereby declare that property to be property to which section 9 of that Act applies.

SCHEDULE

The open archaeological site of ice-age occupation at the base of the flying-fox pylon on the west bank of the Franklin River, in the State of Tasmania, at approximately Latitude 42° 28’ 02” South, Longitude 145° 45’ 51” East.
