COMPENSATION ACT 1998 No 86-PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable James Jacob Spigelman, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Workplace Injury Management and Workers

Compensation Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint l September

1998 as the day on which Chapter 3 of that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences Chapter 3 of the Workplace lnjury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 (which deals with workplace injury management). The other provisions of that Act (except Chapter 3 and section 189) commenced on l August 1998.
