s1 2 s5 Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of No. 46, 2002 Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2002 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2002 . 2 Notice amended This notice amends the Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of Practice) Notice 1999. 3 Amendment of s 3 (Making industry codes of practice) Section 3, ‘the schedule’— omit, insert— ‘ schedule 1’. 4 Replacement of ss 4 to 7 Sections 4 to 7— omit, insert — ‘4 Amended industry codes of practice ‘The industry codes of practice mentioned in schedule 2 have been amended 1 in the way described in the schedule. 2 ’. 5 Replacement of sch hdg Schedule, heading— omit, insert— 1 The amended industry codes of practice are available on the department’s website at or may be purchased from Goprint, 371 Vulture Street, Woolloongabba, 4102. 2 Amendments mentioned in schedule 2, other than the amendment of the Compressed Air Recreational Diving and Recreational Snorkelling Industry Code of Practice 2000, were previously notified in the Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2002 (2002 SL No. 9).

s6 3 s6 Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of No. 46, 2002 Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2002 ‘SCHEDULE 1 ‘INDUSTRY CODES OF PRACTICE’. 6 Insertion of new sch 2 After schedule 1— insert— ‘SCHEDULE 2 ‘AMENDED INDUSTRY CODES OF PRACTICE section 4 The Abrasive Blasting Industry Code of Practice 1999 has been amended, including by changing the measurement of peak noise from an unweighted (linear) peak sound pressure level, L peak , to a C-weighted peak sound pressure level, L C,peak . The amendment commences on 1 February 2003. The Compressed Air Recreational Diving and Recreational Snorkelling Industry Code of Practice 2000 has been amended, including by clarifying the type of emergency oxygen administering system to be used in an emergency. The amendment commences on 20 March 2002. The Forest Harvesting Industry Code of Practice 2000 has been amended, including by replacing references to AS 1269 - Occupational Noise Management with references to AS/NZS 1269 - Occupational Noise Management. The amendment commences on 1 February 2003. The Foundry Industry Code of Practice 1999 has been amended, including by changing the measurement of peak noise from an unweighted (linear) peak sound pressure level, L peak , to a C-weighted peak sound pressure level, L C,peak .
