s1 2 s3 Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2002 No. 9, 2002 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2002 . 2 Notice amended This notice amends the Workplace Health and Safety (Industry Codes of Practice) Notice 1999. 3 Insertion of new ss 4 to 7 After section 3— insert — ‘4 Abrasive Blasting Industry Code of Practice 1999 amended ‘ (1) The Abrasive Blasting Industry Code of Practice 1999 1 has been amended, including by changing the measurement of peak noise from an unweighted (linear) peak sound pressure level, L peak , to a C-weighted peak sound pressure level, L C,peak . ‘ (2) The amendment takes effect on 1 February 2003. ‘ (3) This section expires on 2 February 2003. ‘5 Forest Harvesting Industry Code of Practice 2000 amended ‘ (1) The Forest Harvesting Industry Code of Practice 2000 2 has been amended, including by replacing references to AS 1269 - Occupational Noise Management with references to AS/NZS 1269 - Occupational Noise Management. ‘ (2) The amendment takes effect on 1 February 2003. ‘ (3) This section expires on 2 February 2003. 1 The amended industry code of practice is available on the department’s website at or may be purchased from Goprint, 371 Vulture Street, Woolloongabba, 4102. 2 The amended industry code of practice is available on the department’s website at or may be purchased from Goprint, 371 Vulture Street, Woolloongabba, 4102.
