This standard may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Hazardous Substances) Amendment Compliance Standard (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Standard amended 2. This standard amends the Workplace Health and Safety (Hazardous Substances) Compliance Standard 1995 . ˙ Amendment of sch 1 (Hazardous substances for which health surveillance must be supplied) 3. Schedule 1 is amended as set out in the schedule.

Schedule 1, column 2, opposite ‘4,4’ Methylenebis (2-chloroaniline) (MOCA)’— insert — ‘Demographic, medical and occupational history Health advice’. 2. Schedule 1, column 2, opposite ‘Acrylonitrile’, ‘Medical interview if required by the designated doctor supervising the health surveillance’— omit, insert — ‘Health advice Physical examination if decided by the designated doctor supervising the health surveillance’. 3.
