2 Workplace Health and Safety (Codes of Practice No. 442, 1993 Approval) ˙ Short title 1. This notice may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Codes of Practice Approval) Notice 1993 . ˙ Approval of codes of practice 2. For the purposes of section 34 of the Workplace Health and SafetyAct 1989 , the codes of practice set out in the Schedule are approved. ˙ Repeal 3. The following notices are repealed— (a) the notice, approving a code of practice entitled ‘Code of Practice for Workplace Amenities’, published in the Industrial Gazette on 16 September 1989 at page 840; (b) the notice, approving a code of practice entitled ‘Code of Practice for Project Amenities’, published in the Industrial Gazette on 16 September 1989 at page 831; (c) the notice, approving a code of practice entitled ‘Code of Practice for Manual Handling’, published in the Industrial Gazette on 2 February 1991 at page 306; (d) the notice, approving a code of practice entitled ‘Code of Practice for the Safe Design and Operation of Tractors’, published in the Industrial Gazette on 27 April 1991 at page 622; (e) Manual Handling (Building) Code of Practice Approval Notice 1991 ; (f) Personal Protective Equipment Code of Practice Approval Notice 1991 ; (g) A-C Sheeting Code of Practice Approval Notice 1992 ; (h) Safeguarding of Rural Plant Code of Practice Approval Notice 1992 ; (i) Workplace Health and Safety (Handling of People) Code of Practice Approval Notice 1992 ;
