Workplace Health and Safety (Codes of Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2010 [s 1] 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Codes of Practice) Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2010 . 2 Commencement This notice commences on 1 March 2010. 3 Notice amended This notice amends the Workplace Health and Safety (Codes of Practice) Notice 2005. 4 Amendment of s 4 (Notice of making of codes of practice—Act, s 41(2)) Section 4(2) and (3)— omit, insert— ‘(2) The information in schedule 1, part 1, column 2 is included for information purposes only. Note — Under section 41(5) of the Act, a code of practice made under section 41 of the Act expires 10 years after its commencement.’. 5 Amendment of s 5 (Former advisory standards, or industry codes of practice, continued as codes of practice) Section 5(1) and (2), ‘part 3’— omit, insert— ‘part 2’. 6 Amendment of sch 1 (Codes of practice) (1) Schedule 1, part 1— Page 2 2010 SL No. 28

(4) Schedule 1, part 2, as renumbered, entry for the Industry Code of Practice for Recreational Technical Diving 2002— omit . 7 Amendment of sch 2 (Amended codes of practice) Schedule 2, before section 1— insert— ‘ Editor’s note —— Some of the codes of practice listed in this schedule have been repealed. See schedule 3.’. 8 Amendment of sch 3 (Repealed codes of practice) Schedule 3— insert — ‘4 Codes of practice repealed by Workplace Health and Safety Repeal of Code of Practice Notice (No. 2) 2010 ‘The Compressed Air Recreational Diving and Recreational Snorkelling Code of Practice 2005 and the Industry Code of Practice for Recreational Technical Diving 2002, as continued in force as a code of practice under section 191 of the Act, have been repealed by the Workplace Health and Safety Repeal of Code of Practice Notice (No. 2) 2010. 2010 SL No. 28 Page 3
