2 Workplace Health and Safety Amendment (No. 2) No. 244, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Workplace Health and Safety Regulation 1989 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Commencement 3.(1) Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4(2) commence on 1 July 1993. (2) Section 4(1) commences on 1 February 1994. ˙ Amendment of Schedule 2 (Fees) 4.(1) Schedule 2, clauses 2 to 4— omit, insert— ‘Application for registration or renewal of registration of industrial workplaces 2. If the main activity at the workplace is classified in Schedule 5 as— (a) Category 3, the fee is $27.00 plus $8.20; and (b) Category 4, the fee is $27.00 plus $13.20; per person in excess of 2 persons to be employed (including employers, self-employed persons and persons employed part-time or full-time) between 1 February of 1 year and 31 January of the following year. ‘Application for registration or renewal of registration of classified plant ‘ 3.
