Workplace Health and Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Commencement Sections 4, 11 and 12 commence on 1 January 2009. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the WorkplaceHealthandSafetyRegulation 2008 . 4 Amendment of s 79 (How to apply for a certificate, other than an earthmoving or particular crane work certificate) Section 79(3)(b)— omit, insert— ‘(b) has performed work to remove friable asbestos containing material, or work to remove 10m 2 or more of bonded asbestos containing material, in the last 5 years; and’. 5 Amendment of s 90 (Chief executive to decide application within 28 days) Section 90(2), ‘37(5)’— omit, insert— ‘82(5)’. 6 Amendment of ss 155 and 156 Sections 155(2)(b) and 156(b), ‘experience,’— omit, insert— ‘experience’.
