This notice may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Advisory Standards) Amendment Notice (No. 4) 1999 . ˙ Commencement 2. This notice commences on 1 February 2000. ˙ Notice amended 3. This notice amends the Workplace Health and Safety (Advisory Standards) Notice 1998 . ˙ Amendment of schedule (Advisory Standards) 4. Schedule— insert — ‘Falls from Heights Advisory Standard 2000 (expires 5 years after its commencement on 1 February 2000) 1 Manual Tasks Involving the Handling of People Advisory Standard 2000 (expires 5 years after its commencement on 1 February 2000) 2 ’. 1 This advisory standard replaces the Workplace Health and Safety (Falls from Heights) Advisory Standard 1996 which expired on 31 January 2000. 2 This advisory standard replaces the Code of Practice for Manual Handling—The Handling of People (1992) which expired on 31 January 2000.
