This notice may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Advisory Standards) Amendment Notice (No. 3) 1999 . ˙ Commencement 2. This notice commences on 1 February 2000 immediately after the commencement of the Workplace Health and Safety Legislation Amendment Notice (No. 1) 1999 . ˙ Notice amended 3. This notice amends the Workplace Health and Safety (Advisory Standards) Notice 1998 . ˙ Omission of ss 4, 5 and 7 4. Sections 4, 5 and 7— omit . ˙ Amendment of schedule (Advisory standards) 5. Schedule— insert — ‘Manual Tasks Advisory Standard 2000 (expires 5 years after its commencement on 1 February 2000) 1 1 This advisory standard replaces the Code of Practice for Manual Handling (1991) and the Workplace Health and Safety (Work involving Repetition, Force or Awkward Postures) Advisory Standard 1996, both of which expired on 31 January 2000.
