This notice may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety (Advisory Standards) Amendment Notice (No. 2) 1999 . ˙ Commencement 2. This notice commences on 1 October 1999. ˙ Notice amended 3. This notice amends the Workplace Health and Safety (Advisory Standards) Notice 1998 . ˙ Replacement of s 7 (Repeal) 4. Section 7— omit, insert — ‘ Repeal of advisory standard ‘ 7. The Code of Practice for the Selection, Provision and Use of Personal Protective Equipment in Building Work (1992) is repealed.’. ˙ Amendment of schedule (Advisory standards) 5.(1) Schedule, ‘1 May 2003’— omit, insert — ‘5 years after its commencement on 1 May 1998’. (2) Schedule, ‘1 February 2004’— omit, insert — ‘5 years after its commencement on 1 February 1999’. (3) Schedule, ‘1 July 2004’— omit, insert — ‘5 years after its commencement on 1 July 1999’.
