(Amendment)

I, THOMAS UREN, the Minister of State for Territories and Local Government, hereby make the following Regulations under the Workmen's Compensation Ordinance 1951.

Interpretation

1. Regulation 2 of the Workmen's Compensation Regulations is amended

by omitting sub-regulation (2) and substituting the following sub-regulation:

"(2) In these Regulations, a reference to a form by number shall be read as

a reference to the form so numbered in Schedule 1.".

Claim by employee

2. Regulation 3 of the Workmen's Compensation Regulations is amended

by omitting "in the Schedule".

Claim by dependant

3. Regulation 4 of the Workmen's Compensation Regulations is amended

by omitting "in the Schedule".

4. Regulation 6 of the Workmen's Compensation Regulations is repealed

and the following regulation substituted:
Form of medical certificate

"6. Where the Clerk of the Court refers a matter to a medical referee under a provision of the Ordinance other than a provision of section IOA, IOB or IOC, the medical referee shall furnish the Clerk of the Court with a report in accordance with Form 3 in relation to the matter.".

5. Regulation 11 of the Workmen's Compensation Regulations is repealed

and the following regulation substituted:

Compliance with forms

"11. Strict compliance with the forms in Schedule 1 is not required and

6. After regulation 12 of the Workmen's Compensation Regulations the

following regulation is inserted:

Diseases related to employment

"13. For the purposes of section 9A of the Ordinance, a disease of a kind specified in column 1 of Schedule 2 is related to employment of a kind specified in column 2 of that schedule opposite the reference to that disease in column 1."

7. The heading to the Schedule to the Workmen's Compensation

Regulations is omitted and the following heading is substituted:

8. The Workmen's Compensation Regulations are amended by adding at

the end thereof the following Schedule:
