16 Qweltshttt4 ANNO VICESIMO SEPTIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 3 of 1978 An Act to amend the Workers' Homes Acts Repeal Act 1961-1972 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 5TH MAY, 19781 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Workers' Homes Acts Repeal Act Amendment Act 1978. (2) The Workers' Homes Acts Repeal Act 1961-1972 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Workers' Homes Acts Repeal Act 1961-1978. 2. Amendment of s. 9 . Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended by, in the proviso- (a) omitting from subparagraph (a) the expression:- ""(c) The gross value of his estate does not exceed $12,000; " " and substituting the expression:- " " (c) The gross value of his estate does not exceed the amount prescribed by regulation 17 (6) of the regulations made under the StateHousing Act1945-1974 as in force at the material time or any regulation or sub-regulation made in substitution therefor; " ";. (b) omitting subparagraph (b) and substituting the following :subparagraph:- (b) Regulation 6 (4) of the regulations made under the StateHousing Act1945-1974 as in force at the material time or any regulation or sub-regulation made in substitution therefor shall be substituted for regulations 32 and 33 (2) of the regulations 'made under the repealed Acts.".
