I, the Minister for Finance and Services, in pursuance of section 82B (2) of the
Workers Compensation Act 1987, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
Section 82B of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 provides for the indexation of certain current weekly earnings amounts in that Act by reference to annual changes in average weekly earnings as published by the Australian Statistician.

The object of this Order is to notify the annual change in those current weekly earnings amounts on the NSW legislation website.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Workers Compensation (Weekly Payments
Indexation) Amendment (Current Weekly Earnings) Order 2013.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Workers Compensation (Weekly Payments Indexation) Order 2013

Clause 5

Insert after clause 4:

5      Indexation of certain amounts—according to average weekly earnings: section 82B

For the purposes of section 82B (2) of the Act, the amount that is to apply for a financial year specified in Column 1 of the Table to this clause is the amount specified in Column 2 of that Table opposite that financial year.
