WORKERS COMPENSATION LEGISLATION AMENDMENT

ACT 1998 No 85—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) JAMES JACOB SPIGELMAN, Lieutenant-Governor.

I, the Honourable James Jacob Spigelman, Lieutenant-Governor of the State

of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in

pursuance of section 2 of the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 1998 as the day on which Schedule 1 [19], [66] and [67] to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences the uncommenced amendments to the Workers Compensation Act 1987 that are consequential on provisions of the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 relating to injury management that

are to commence on the same date.
