I. the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation. appoint 1 August 1998 as the day on which that Act (Schedule l [19], [66] and [67] excepted) commences.

This Proclamation commences the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 1998 with the exception of Schedule 1 [19], [66] and [67], which make amendments to the Workers Compensation Act 1987 that are consequential on (uncommenced) provisions of the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 relating to injury management.
