No. 31 An Act to Am.end "The Workers' Compensation {Lead Poisoning, Mount Isa) Acts, 1933 to 1941," in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 24TH NOVEMBER, 1961] B E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) This Act may be cited as "The Workers' Short title Compensation (Lead Poisoning, Mount Isa) Acts Amendment Act of 1961." (2) "The Workers' Compensation (Lead Poisoning, Principal Mount Isa) Acts, 1933 to 1941," are in this Act referred Act to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act and this Act may be <:;ollective collectively cited as "The Workers' Compensation (Leadtitle Poisoning, Mount Isa) Acts, 1933 to 1961."

Section three of the Principal Act is amended- (a) by omitting from subsection (1) the words "resident at Mount Isa," ; (b) by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsections :- "' (la) The members of the Board other than the chairman shall be resident at Mount Isa. (lb) Where a member of the Board other than the chairman ceases to be resident at Mount Isa, his office as member shall become vacant." ; and (c) by inserting in subsection (2) before the words " Every member of the Board ", the words " Subject to subsection (lb) of this section,".
