I, the chief executive of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority, in pursuance of sections 82B and 82F of the Workers Compensation Act 1987, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to declare increases in adjusted amounts for the purposes of calculating certain entitlements to compensation under the Workers Compensation Act 1987 (including weekly payments of compensation after 130 weeks and compensation for permanent impairment).

This Order is made under the Workers Compensation Act 1987, including sections 82B(2) and 82F(3).

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Workers Compensation (Indexation) Amendment Order (No 2)

2020.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 2020 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Workers Compensation (Indexation) Order 2019

(1)  Clause 7A Indexation of certain amounts—according to average weekly earnings:

section 82B

Insert at the end of the Table—

(2) Clause 9 Indexation—compensation for permanent impairment: section 82F
Insert in appropriate order, in Columns 2 and 3 of the Table, respectively, in the matter relating to each provision of the 1987 Act—
