I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New
South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance
of section 2 of the Workers Compensation (Benefits) Amendment Act
1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 1992 as the day
on which that Act (except for Schedule 3 (1) and (2) and section 3 in its

application to those provisions) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation provides for the commencement on 1 February 1992 of all the provisions of the Workers Compensation (Benefits) Amendment Act 1991 except

for:

(a) an amendment to the amount of excess that certain employers are required

to repay to their insurers in respect of claims paid; and

(b) a further amendment consequential on that amendment.
