1. Citation
These regulations are the Workers' Compensation and Injwy

The amendments in these regulations are to the Workers'

After regulation 44 the following regulation is inserted —
44
44A. Counselling psychology (1) In this regulation —
"counselling psychologist" means a psychologist whohas completed a 4 year psychology degree, a
2 year Master's degree in counselling psychology
and 2 years of weekly supervision of full-timepractice after completion of the Master's Degree.
(2) Where counselling psychology is approved under
section 5(1) of the Act as an "approved treatment" for
workers suffering disabilities that are compensable
under the Act, that treatment can only be provided by a
counselling psychologist.
