Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981

Workers' Compensation and Injury

Management Amendment Regulations 2016

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

Management Regulations 1982.

These regulations are the Workers' Compensation and Injury
Management Amendment Regulations 2016.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Workers' Compensation and Injury

4.            Regulation 3A inserted After regulation 3 insert:

3A.	Instruments under Commonwealth laws prescribed for definition of industrial award in Act
For the purposes of paragraph (d) of the definition of industrial award in section 5(1) of the Act, the following instruments are prescribed -

(a)	a fair work instrument as defined in the Fair Work Act 2009 (Commonwealth) section 12;
(b)

an award-based transitional instrument as Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 2009 (Commonwealth) Schedule 2 item 2 that continues in existence under Schedule 3 Part 2 of that Act.
