AN ACT to amend the Workers' Compensation

Supplementation Fund Amendment Act 1981.

[Assented to 26 November 1981.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Workers' and

Compensation and Assistance (Consequential

Principal Act.

(2) In this Act the Workers' Compensation Sup-

plementation Fund Amendment Act 1981 is referred

to as the principal Act.

Section 2

amended. 2. Section 2 of the principal Act is amended

(a) in subsection (2) by deleting "section 102 of the Workers' Compensation" and sub- stituting the following-

" section 94 of the Workers' Compensa-

tion and Assistance " ; and

(b) in subsections (3), (4) and (5) by inserting, after "Workers' Compensation" wherever it occurs, in each case the following-

" and Assistance "

Section 3

amended. 3. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended

(a) in subsection (1) (b) by deleting "section 102 of the Workers' Compensation" and sub- stituting the following-

" section 94 of the Workers' Compensa-

tion and Assistance " ;

(b) in subsection (3) by inserting, after "Workers' Compensation", the following-

" and Assistance " ;

(c) in subsection (4) by deleting "167 of the Workers' Compensation" and substituting the following-

" 160 of the Workers' Compensation and

Assistance "

(d) in subsection (5) by deleting "168 of the Workers' Compensation" and substituting the following-

" 161 of the Workers' Compensation and

Assistance "

and

(e) in subsection (6) by deleting-

(i)    "section 172 of the Workers' Com- pensation" and substituting the following

section 164 of the Workers' Compensation and Assist- ance "

and

(ii)   "section 157 (a) (iii)" and sub- stituting the following-

" section 151 (a) (iii)

4. Section 4 of the principal Act is repealed and Section 4 repealed and

the following section is substituted— substituted.
