(Index Number) Regulation 2008

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Workers Compensation Act 1987.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to update an index number that is used for the purposes of the
indexation of benefits under the Workers Compensation Act 1987.
This Regulation is made under the Workers Compensation Act 1987, including sections 79
(which defines, among other things, latest index number) and 280 (the general

regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Workers Compensation Amendment (Index
Number) Regulation 2008.

2 Amendment of Workers Compensation Regulation 2003

The Workers Compensation Regulation 2003 is amended by inserting the following matter at the end of the Table to clause 13 in Columns 1 and 2, respectively:
