I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance

of section 2 (1) of the Workers Compensation (Amendment) Act 1991,

do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 18 October 1991 as the day on which Schedule 4 (1) to that Act, and section 3 of that Act in its application to that provision, commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences an amendment to the Workers Compensation Act 1987 that will enable the Compensation Court to apportion the respective liabilities of the insurers of a single employer where compensation is payable in respect of
two or more injuries sustained by the same worker.
